Design and Technology

At Leigh on Mendip, Design and Technology is taught as a discrete subject with links made to other subjects where appropriate. In Design and Technology we learn about food technology - including preparing and cooking recipes from fresh ingredients. We design, build and test out models and evaluate their purpose and functionality. We use a variety of tools, techniques and materials. 

We use Kapow Primary to deliver our DT curriculum. This ensures that knowledge skills are progressively built upon as children move through the school.
