Welcome to Leigh on Mendip School

Welcome to our village school, nestled in the heart of Leigh on Mendip.

We are proud to offer a nurturing and inspiring environment for children aged 2 to 11. Our pupils are enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn — which is why we believe in "Nurturing Curious Minds."

Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff work collaboratively across both the preschool and school, ensuring every child receives the highest standard of education and care.

In November 2018, we became an academy as part of the Midsomer Norton Schools’ Partnership. This has opened up a wealth of opportunities for our pupils, enriching their learning experiences and broadening their horizons.

We operate an open-door policy and would be delighted to welcome you for a visit. If you are considering our school for your child, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’d love to show you what makes our school so special.
